  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Fridge

I don't think we're entirely talking about a fridge here... But this is a well-paced play about...a fridge?...and accepting something you love, flaws and all. The woman could get a newer model, but that doesn't mean that one won't fail her either. There are no guarantees, so if you love something, you make it work!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Go Knights! (Ten Minute)

I am absolutely related to Julie so much, I felt myself feeling her rage and betrayal. But I also know I would want my husband to continue on the squad, as well, and be plotting my "big comeback" for the following year. This is so inspirational and relatable! And I would love to see the Knight Fever dance routine!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Gentle Assassins

War is hell. These female assassins know and accept that, but they refuse to be the demons in this hell. I am sure it was a hard decision to make, but after all they had witnessed, they knew it was the right decision. This play will be great for talkbacks, a great light on the humans and civilians who suffer the horrors of war.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Retail Therapy

This play is a strong reminder why working retail is...abusive...yeah, I said it. It's not always abusive, but it is a lot of the time. Meanwhile, Hambley gives the audience a moment, through direct interaction with the main character, to have some true therapy. To share THEIR retail story, to live through the Woman's retail story as well. This is truth through an avante garde lens.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Dickery Pokery

OMG! This fast paced banter is hilarious and unexpected...and somehow a little sweet, if not weird. This is a foreign concept to me, but Tony is impressive for "taking the shot" so to speak, to make his wife happy. File this one under "Weirdly romantic and slightly criminal."

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: RAVINE (a 1-min stage play)

This tension filled short play would be very hard to witness, but very amazing to design and perform. Very real, like a fleeting nightmare.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: What's in the Box?!

Oh the comedy AND the tension builds cleverly here! Also, Kerri is a very "clever girl!" This play will leave audiences shouting the title out loud at the end! "WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!"

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Coronation

One of my close friends in high school was totally a "Dan Park." An "instigator" is what we called him. He loved to create chaos and cause other people to fight. In CORONATION, Dan's major downfall was that he saw everyone as cinematic stereotypes and not the layered humans that they are. This is a great show for young actors and a great way to illustrate the humanity behind the high school hierarchies.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Break

I love the discussions in this play, as they are very important but rarely ever shared with people like Sarah. There is still the idea out there that college is the end all be all. The options for Sarah are endless and that is exciting to witness her realize that. Mac is a hilariously frustrating character as well. We all know a Mac, if not in person, online!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: John's story (a monologue)

This is the inanimate object you didn't know you needed to hear from! And honestly, John may make you feel a little bit better about what you have to do behind closed doors. After all, "If you don't crap, you die!"
