  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Miss R.R.Hood Versus The Wolf.

A brilliantly funny take on the fairy tale along with a couple of other fairy tale ties thrown in. Would make a great festival piece. Very well done.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: THE CAKE

We read this piece as part of an evening of short plays. It has a beautiful sadness to it as the two characters bond over events from their childhood. A lovely play brilliantly done.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Making Herself Comfortable - A Script In A Day

A wonderfully insightful and powerful commentary about gender with humorous as well as intriguing dialogue. What more could you want? In the current social climate its a brilliantly done piece.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Challenge

We read this piece as part of a Sunday night play reading and I couldn't stop laughing. The three characters are brilliantly created and the escalation of confusion only makes this piece all the more funny. Very well done!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Village Bakehouse - A Script In A Day

In a world where we always have the modern convieniences like the internet, the community setting of this place sounds like an idyllic place to go an live away from it all. While the characters seem to be listed with 'stock identities' the writer has given them very clear voices as they regail the audiene and a very confused student about what is involved with life in their village. A very funny piece that was well put together.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Final Frontier - A script in a day

Teenagers accuse parents of ruining their lives all the time but I don't thin Mason quite knows what to think when he discovers what his family have done! Outside of the humorous and quick witted dialogue the background topic is brilliantly explored and the piece as a whole very well written!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Gentleman’s Agreement - A Script In A Day

A most intriguing piece with a few twists, which is impressive in a short piece. The two characters are developed to the point where I have a million questions about where they came from, why they are there and who they are. I think their stories and how they've intertwined to meet at this moment would also make a great full length piece. Very accomplished for a day!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Are You Comfortable?

While simplistic in its formatting, "Are you Comfortable?" is a beautifully constructed journey of high running emotions and tension between the two characters. The suspense is very clearly felt as you read through and, while it is a great example of an emotional rollercoaster as it is, I believe there is much more that can be explored of 'him' and 'her', possibly turning it into a longer one act. As it is though this piece will very much hold the audience to their seat!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Gamma Girls to the Rescue

This is wonderful piece that emulates the bonds of sisterhood in a moment of fear. We, as an audience get to watch the girls reflect on their past, which gives you a lovely rounded view of the characters. The dialogue builds at a lovely place and capulates a beautiful moment at the end. Very much a "Go Girl!" piece!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Forgotten

As a writer, I quite often find myself hearing my characters chatting/arguing in my head and the chaos that ensues. The writer has perfectly capuslated that moment in this short piece. You can feel the writers frustration building and as a writer you find yourself thinking..."why do we choose to create characters like this?!" The character of the writer is relatable and his creations make you laugh! Very well done!
