  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: MERRY - WAIT! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?

This piece presents the horrific idea of "What happens if Christmas disappears?" Coupled with wonderful points of humour and lovely characters this would make a great short piece for the festive time of year.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Golden Rule

Unfortunately, we all probably know a 'Helen' in our lives. Someone who believes themselves entitled and they shouldn't have to work for things because of where they were born or who their family is. Dan Taube more than breathes live into this style of character, he has you rolling your eyes because the conversation feels real and is something a lot of audience will relate to well. Both characters are strong and powerful and create a wonderful scene full of tension!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Riddles

Ooooooooooooo! That was my instant reaction when I finished reading this piece. The snappy dialogue between the four characters is brilliant and keeps you guessing right the way to the end. Its a piece of theatre that will draw its audience in and hold them until the last moment! I truly captivating piece!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Fireworks

I love the way that the display of the fireworks walk hand in hand with the dialogue between the three characters, including the beautiful ending. The scenario created here is a lot of people can relate to and the writer has created it perfectly. As an audience member you would feel very satisfied for the character by the end of this piece. Relatable characters, great story arch and funny moments make this a lovely piece.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Be That As It May

I do love a play with a good twist and this piece has a brilliant one! The sudden turn from the fantasy to the reality is a brilliant construct within the piece and coupled with the pace and the back and forth dialogue, the piece would be a great and interesting piece to stage!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: "It's All About Me"

The loss of identify in a relationship is something a lot of women think about but this writer creates that feeling wonderfully in this short piece. You can see the character talking over her termoil and you half want there to be other women in the room with her so this wonderful piece of monologue could be converted to what I'm sure would be a wonderful full length piece.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Frozen Window

You'd think that leaving a window open in winter wasn't something that could destroy a friendship...but you'd be wrong. The writer brilliantly constructs the escalation between the two characters, drawing the audience in as he does so. This tense escalation is presented with great pace and a wonderful climactic moment (that you need to read to find out!) Very well done!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Purple Pride

This is the opitome of a 'meet-cute'. These two characters have been given a lovely meeting by the writer and you can't help but smile as you watch the meeting unfold. Its a piece where I couldn't help but go "Awwwwwwwwww"!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Bread and Brie

This writer definitely has a gift for creating piece about relationships. The characters of Rita and Fred are two very lively and funny characters who invite the audience in for a priviate viewing of (apparently one of many) one of their domestics. It a brilliantly written, fast pace and wonderfully witty piece!
