  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Brief Lifespan of a Butterfly (Monologue)

This is a brilliant example of a female empowerment piece that will have you going "you go girl!" by the end. The character of Caroline is expertly portrayed through her dialogue as a woman who is desperately trying to cling to the wreckage of her relationship before she reaches her wits end. In addition, while he's not on stage you can see the husband of character (at least I could) you could see is neanderthal like appeareance and hear the 'grunts' that create his side of the conversation. A fabulous piece that celebrates women and their independence!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Under A Watchful Eye

While this piece has elements of humerous dialogue you can't avoid the brilliantly crafted dark undertone that exists between this girl and her father. The piece is very well balanced and I think the characters is very well created. It would make a powerful audition piece or a great monologue for an evening of short pieces. Like the character in this piece, the play should not be underestimated!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Up Against the 4th Wall

The writer here has an amazing gift to create dialogue that inspires vivid imagery along with this quick paced adventure of Dash Malone. As I read the piece I couldn't help but lean in closer, desperate to know if the hero was going to be able to make his daring escape to freedom! While this would make a brilliantly exciting piece for stage, I can also see this as a TV series "The Daring adventures of Dash Malone" and would tune in every week!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: CELL - ME TOO

You can sense all the way through this piece that the character (like so many other women) is sick and tired of having to endure behaviour that the men in her life think is acceptable. While the dialogue appears simple in construction, it comes together to create very poignant piece for this day and age. I think that if I went to see this with my partner it would inspire debate regarding the 'vigilante justice' discussed here and i think theatre that can inspire debate is rare but Paul Smith has created a wonderful example of it.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A CHANCE

The setting of two women on a park bench could make you think that the piece itself is simplistic but this piece is far from it! Initially I saw a beautiful moment of bonding between these two different but expertly constructed characters but then just at the right moment the writer yanks it from under you and leaves you almost stunned for a moment in a moment of "oh...my...god!" and to me that makes great theatre!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Interview

This piece brilliantly frames the idea of "what our lives are remembered for when we're gone?" As a writer, the idea of the character giving up on those dreams really struck home! Despite the elements of sadness in the 'moving on' element of the piece I finished it empowered knowing that I wanted to be remembered for something more. To create a piece that empowers your audience is rare but I think the writer has done a very good job of it here!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Trouble in Deadwood

If you love a good murder mystery then this is the play for you! Right from the characters creation at the beginning you know you're going to be treated to a well thought out piece. The play itself doesn't disappoint! With wonderfully written dialogue this piece would make a fabulous evening of entertainment.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: MY PARADISE ISLAND

I'll never be ungrateful about my holiday again! The funny chaos that decends on this poor couple is brilliantly done and even the 'notes to director' had be giggling. Its a wonderfully constructed environment with two wonderful characters. Their audience is one any audience should see!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: PASS THE AGGREVATION

A brilliantly funny piece! The start appears to be just your normal family dinner but the communication issue becomes apparent early on and escalates to the point where I think the audience would have to resist the urge to shout "for gods sake just listen to her!" This would make a brilliant short for any society!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: THE WHOLE SHEBANG - An Intense Thriller Filled With Twists and Turns

Brilliantly witty dialogue is littered throughout this fabulous piece! Coupled with the great characters and the brutally harsh moments makes this play a brilliant piece of comedy/drama. It is wonderfully crafted and will make a brilliant piece to see on a stage.
