  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Sweet Sweet Christmas (a monologue)

While I don't know the tormet Lindsay is going through as she shares this monologue, which both makes you smile and breaks your heart at the same time, you, as an audience member will be feeling for her by the end. Scott Sickles has brought this poor woman's anguish to life here and has given an actress a wonderfully powerful part to play. For me it also made me think about how many other people out there are suffering. That's the true power of Scott's writing, he makes you feel for the characters while provide great theatre, every time!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Gift

So now I want to go and set fire to Miriam's neighbours house! That's the wonderful realistic, emotional and humourous characters Karen has presented within this piece. Its a brilliantly constructed snapshot of the sat circumstances that Miriam has had to endure as this woman's neighbour, which will resonate with people of have suffered with neighbours from hell, which seems to me an appropriate title for this woman. Yet, despite the darkness there are moments of light that will give you cause to smile. I won't tell you when and where, that's up to you to read and find!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: I'll Take This One Brother

A brilliantly delicately balanced piece! To begin you are presented with four wonderfully believable characters that I could see & hear in my head as they discussed the events of a boxing match which then descends into a darker conversation about the war that is currently being fought around them. There are some wonderful moments of dilaogue that will make you smile and some moments that will tug at your heart strings with wonderful characters at the centre. A fabulously written piece which, for me, hits the top three, makes you laugh, makes you cry and makes you think.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Dinner Date

Dinner Date is an intrieguing giggle fest from beginning to end. Andy and Rebecca have you guessing right through what they are going to do and say to each other next. The play is a wonderful analysis of how different (and bizarre) relationships can be. Its got quick back and forth dialogue that guides you through the escalation of their converstion, twisting and turning as it goes on. Its is a brilliant work of comedy that is sure to have an audience giggling when you are presented with the final twist at the end! A wonderfully witty piece!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Bagged

In a world where certain types of people are far too happy to get involved in other people's business its fabulous to see someone standing their ground! One page it may be but Jacquelyn depicts a scene that many people will be able to relate to (having witnessed or been part of it). I feel like Harriet deserves a commendation for the wonderful way she deals with the situation and the entitled Ms B. Jacquelyn never disappoints with her wonderfully witty dialogue and the final line here had me laughing out loud! Fabulously written!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Our House to Yours

Truly beautiful! To begin you think you are going to have a wonderfully giggling humorous piece, as I did giggle quite a bit to begin with but then Deb presents a twist that invokes emotion and makes you truly appreciate those you have in your life. It could be the perfect addition to a seasonal show! Another wonderful piece from Deb!
