What a great idea, what a silly idea, what fun! I really enjoyed this and didn't see the end coming. Very well written, good energy, not sure what else to say but it's great fun!!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Girl in the Mirror

THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR is genuinely creepy, tense and disturbing. What begins as a strange but innocent meeting of 2 young ladies a century apart, turns into something quite sinister. With the right budget and some clever effects this could be staged as a wonderful, scary piece of theatre.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Another Kind of Cancer

Wow. It's rare, I mean the first time I have read a play that changes my outlook on life. In this piece Fields addresses the Black Lives Matter movement and makes me see it in a whole new light! I firmly believe this should be read in schools, and shown to politicians just the same. Excellent and profound.

  • Christopher Plumridge: When You're Fifty - a monologue

Having recently reached the grand age of 48 I can relate to this perfectly truthful piece by Fields. So much, actually ALL of what the writer says is true and I have thought about all the points throughout my life a lot. This play is spot on and should be read by everyone aged 20 as a polite warning.

  • Christopher Plumridge: What Did You Think Of Me?

There's some great interaction between the two characters in this lovely two hander by Taube, I completely believed in them both. We see their tense relationship shift in several ways in just a short piece, as usual with me, I wanted more! I can clearly see this being staged.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Everybody Likes California

What a great two hander by Baron this is, I loved it! The morning after, the reality kicks in and the way Bob foolishly describes the night before changes the course of this encounter. I'm left wondering whether or not there will be another meeting.....great stuff!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Ellida

ELLIDA, a beautiful name in itself, treads water in this wonderfully descriptive, tense monologue by Syran. Her determination is admirable as well as it is foolish, I wanted desperately for her to succeed and of course to survive. Find out for yourself, this is an excellent read!!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Not a Problem

NOT A PROBLEM is a wonderful, funny, relatable monologue that I can clearly see being acted out. I recognise my own wife in this piece! Hugely funny!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Of Night and Dark Obscurity

Wow! Deep, profound, uncomfortable, excellent reading. The very idea of this plot is genius in itself, the erosion of soul, a great line in itself thread's through this play by Sickles. We see clearly the intimate relationship which binds his characters and the hurt they both feel. Very creepy, I enjoyed this a lot!
