But in true Feeny-Williams style, Rachel decorates the stage with the characters from this dancers past each take their turn in the spotlight as Amelia tells her story.
Thankfully this dancer realises just what horrors she went through and is determined her daughter and grand kids don't have to face the same.
A stylishly staged play with an important lesson.

How many times does a mad scientist experiment with their subject until they get it spot on? Aly explores this to great effect with many takes on the Frankenstein troupe, each reawakening is unique but wrong.
This fun short would provide a wonderful piece for two budding actors, especially for the one lucky enough to play Patient.
BRILLIANT!!

Ha, Max gets her comeuppance in true, gruesome, Lou Jones style in this fun ghost story short!
Everything about her story is fake, she just wants viewing figures.... but.... this is where the spooky story starts....

I had the honour of reading a role as part of an online reading this play by Jaxson.
MORE FOR YOU, follows Danny's hunt for closure after the brutal death of his sister, as if that isn't a tough enough deal to cope with, he has a busy family and friend dynamic whirling on around him, the poor man! Audiences will be routing for him, wanting the truth to be unveiled.
And the appearance of Willow is a real surprise.
Great work!

A lovely short memory play, all the better for being a true memory of the playwright. So often we look back to troubled times so it's a pleasant change to take this recollection of happier days.
Although a monologue, I would love to see the protagonists parents playing out the scene, in some way, ghost like perhaps in spots? Or possible being played out on a screen behind the reader, in old cine film style.

Ha! How many times have I witnessed my wife standing on the scale (yes, twice each time) and pondered her thoughts? Now I know!
This is a fun short play which brings life to an inanimate object. But it's the twist half way through which is both unexpected and heartwarming!

How does one sum up three such varied plays? Not enough room here.
So I will sum up this evening of three one act plays as one.
Here, Scott does what he does best, bringing us such depth of character, such vivid scene setting, throwing every emotion into the pot that we can think of.
Any audience will laugh, cringe, well up, cry, empathise, be angry, then laugh again, most probably whilst crying some more!
I do hope I get to see these three acts staged on one fine evening.
Wonderful!

As if our hearts aren't broken enough with every news bulletin on yet another school shooting, we still write and read more plays on such terrible events.
Ryan's approach here is unique and compelling, as strangers meet with one unexpected connection. Also the way the playwright has composed this piece will be striking to watch, an excellent performance play for schools to take on. There will not be a dry eye in the house, I cried just reading this.
Truly excellent writing.

But this bar I stumbled in had a real femme fatale. I had a new case but was I up to this dangerous Dame?

MOVING DAY by Marilyn is sweet as it us heartbreaking. For this is as much about love for family as the obvious final journey.
The humour is subtle, gentle and perfect.
Audiences will be sure to warm to Edie and understand her choice.
I'd love to see this staged.
